New Student Enrollment Information
Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, a new Texas law (HB1481) requires school districts to limit student use of personal communication devices during the school day. To comply with HB 1481, all student electronic devices will be required to be left at home or powered off and put away while on campus during the instructional day. Students will not be allowed to use personal devices at any time during the school day. This policy helps reduce distractions, protect student privacy, and support learning.

As of August 26, 2018 all school districts are subject to the Commissioner’s rules regarding the removal of a disruptive person from a campus. More information regarding this new rule can be found in Chapter 37, section 37.105 of the Texas Education Code, which addresses: Unauthorized Persons, Refusal of Entry, Ejection, and Identification.
